Algeria has announced a tender for the purchase of at least 50,000 tons of milled wheat. Offers are accepted until 12.04.2022. Delivery will take place within May - June.
According to the forecast of the Ukrainian Grain Association, the grain production in Ukraine will reach 63 million tons in 2022, including wheat production of 18.2 million tons (33 in 2021).
In the United States, 30% of winter wheat crops are in good and excellent condition (53% a year earlier), 34% are in fair condition (31%) and 36% of the crops are in poor and very poor condition (16%).
Safras & Mercado have raised their forecast for the corn production in Brazil in 2021/22 to 118.16 million tons from 115.68 million tons in the February estimate and 91.47 million tons in 2020/21.
