On Tuesday continues the divergent movement of prices from Monday when wheat prices went up and corn declined. Yesterday in Chicago the soybeans also went down. In Paris rapeseed prices collapsed. Wheat prices decreased and corn increased both at minimum.
According to Oil World, during the period September - May 2016 – 2017 global soybean export will reach 99.5 million tonnes, which is by 4.04 million tonnes more than the previous season and it represents a 100% growth for the last 10 years.
According to Oil World, in May 2017, soybean oil export from the four major exporters decreased to 0.81 million tonnes, given 0.82 million tonnes in May 2016 and 0.87 million tonnes in April.
According to Oil World, in May 2017 palm oil export from Malaysia rises by 17% (+0.22 million tonnes) up to 1.51 million tonnes which is by 0.3 million tonnes more than in April.
During the period October 2016 – April 2017, 13.1 million tonnes of wheat were exported, which is 2/3 of the annual forecast, according to the Australian Bureau of Statistics.
Agri-food Cooperatives Spain published its first forecast for the grain crop in the country for the current year that will reach 15.2 million tonnes - the fifth lowest crop since 1990.
