According to forecast of Abiove /Brazilian Association of Vegetable Oil Industries/, in 2017 – 2018 soybean processing in the country will be at record highs – 41 mln tonnes, which will lead to all time record high quantities of soybean oil and soybean meal.
Corn harvest in Argentina is slowing down due to rainfalls. As a result the export window will be moved to the end of August, which will increase siginificantly the competition with Brazil and USA.
According to forecast of the Association of soybean and corn producers in Brazil, soybean yields in the state of Mato Grosso in 2016-2017 will reach 10% of the total crop, while in 2017 – 2018 it will reach 15%.
