Oil World's updated report states that, in January 2017, the four key soybean oil exporter countries exported 610,000 tons to the world market (751,000 tons in January 2016).
On February 12, 2017 Iraq accepted papers for auction participation for the purchase of 50,000 tons of wheat. The lowest price on offer was for Romanian wheat - 224 USD/ton C&F.
Information from Russia states that 23.088 mln tons of grain were exported from Russia between the beginning of the season and February 8, 2017 versus 23.109 mln tons a year earlier.
Oil World's latest report states that the five world key soybean exporter countries exported 8.2 mln tons in January 2017, which is 0.8 mln tons more than January 2016 and 1.7 mln tons more than December 2016.
In the period January - November 2016 Argentina decreased soybean export to 11.3 mln tons, which is 14% less than the same period of 2015 – 13.1 mln tons.
In the current season (July - June) China has increased wheat import while decreasing corn and sorghum import, FAS USDA reports in its latest forecast.
9.0 mln tons of wheat were exported in Canada in the first 27 weeks of the current season, which is 19% lower than the previous year, CGC reported. Soft wheat export dropped by 21% to 6.9 mln tons while hard wheat export went down by 13% to 2.2 mln tons.
