Over the past week, wheat, corn, soybean, soymeal, and soyoil futures rose in Chicago. In Paris, wheat futures fell, while corn and rapeseed futures increased.
For the week of November 7–12, the export tax on Russian wheat will be 2,517 rubles/ton (up from 2,272.9 rubles a week earlier). The export tax on barley will be 1,266.2 rubles/ton (+463.8), and the export tax on corn will be 3,059.9 rubles/ton (+357.8).
Yesterday, the Egyptian state company GASC held an auction to purchase milling wheat for delivery between November 25 and December 5, 2024, or between December 6 and December 15, 2024.
In September, 5.07 million tons of soybeans were processed in the United States, which is below forecasts, but 11.31% more than in August and 6.72% more than the record in September 2023.
Oil World forecasts that in 2024/25, the supply of 17 major oils worldwide will increase by 1.6 million tons compared to the 8.8 million tons in 2023/24.
