For the period September 2016 - March 2017 337 000 tonnes of sunflower oil have been exported from Hungary by 14.2% more compared to same period of the last year - – 295 000 tonnes.
According to Oil World, in the current season soybean meal share in the total meal consumption in the EU will reach 53.4% given 54.8% for the past season.
According to Oil World's latest forecast, global production of the seven key crops will reach the record 549.5 mln. tonnes in the current season which is by 3.1 mln. tonnes more than the previous estimate and by 10% more than the previous year.
According to Oil World, for the period September - may 2017 global sunflower oil production will rise to 6.31 mln. tonnes, given 5.71 mln. tonnes a year earlier
