Turkey officially announced that it resumes the import of Russian wheat. Earlier the country confirmed that it revokes the duty on import of sunflower oil.
According to Oil World's latest forecast, soybean yield in Argentina will reach 54-55 mln. tonnes in the current season, given 54.7 mln. tonnes in 2015 – 2016 and 60 mln. tonnes in 2014 – 2015.
Since the beginning of the current season the Egyptian State Fund has bought 500,000 tons of wheat from the local farmers. 3.8 million tonnes of wheat are planned to be purchased until the end of the campaign.
According to USDA estimate in 2017 - 2018 areas under soybean cultivation in Paraguay will decline by 3% to 3.35 mln.ha. Second crop soybean areas are on decrease and transferred to the more profitable corn.
