According to information from Oil World, oilseeds import in China grew significantly in February 2017. Soybean import reached 5.54 mln tons (4.51) including 4.43 mln tons (3.89) soybean from the USA and 0.69 mln tons (0.27) from Brazil.
On April 3, 2017 Morocco will carry out an auction for the purchase of 132,000 tons of soft wheat. The wheat may be either domestic produce or imported.
According to information from Oil World rapeseed import in the EU has grown for the past few months. Between the start of February and March 14, 2017 there was 50% growth on the previous year and reached 0.7 mln tons. Australia and Canada are the biggest rapeseed suppliers.
Brazil will set a new record in corn and soybean production and export in 2017, USDA reported. The current infrastructure will be insufficient to match this workload.
Oil World reported that oilseeds import in Indonesia reached 330,000 tons in January 2017, which is more than twice higher than January 2016 – 142,000 tons. Soybean was the main import target – 303,000 tons (111,000).
