Wheat export from Canada has been shrinking significantly during the current season despite harvest growth, Canadian Grain Commisiion (CGC) states. 6.2 mln tons soft wheat have been exported from Canada for the first 23 weeks of the season which marks a 19 per cent decrease compared with the same period of MY 2015 - 2016. Hard wheat export has gone down by 6 per cent to 1.8 mln tons.
AGRO-TECEI predict that sunflower harvest in Argentina will be 3.5 tons, which is lower than the original expectations. The reason for the decrease is the excessive amount of rain in Buenos Airse province.
In November 2016, France's corn export was below 350,900 tons and barley export was 248,700 tons. Compared with November 2015 corn export has decreased by 24%, and barley export has decreased by 28%.
In October, the export of French soft wheat to third countries has dropped to 293,000 tons according to the country's customs services. It has been the lowest export for this month of year since 2007.
