For the period 2017 – 2018 grain yield in Russia will reach 108.1 mln. tonnes, by 6.1 mln. tonnes less than the current season and given 99.4 mln. tonnes for 2015 – 2016 and 100.5 mln. tonnes for 2014 – 2015.
As of 5.05.2017 areas under spring crops cultivation in Ukraine amount to 5.5 mln. ha, 76% of the planned areas, according to the Ukrainian Ministry of Agriculture
According to UcraAgroConsult, as of 05.05.2017, spring sowing in Russia is completed on areas of 13.3 mln. ha or 25.3% of the plan given 13.5 mln. ha in 2016.
The Indian State Agency increases the purchased wheat for the state fund. Some reasons will prevent the completion of the ambitious plan in the current season.
