In 2017 – 2018 areas under winter wheat cultivation in the US will be 32.3 mln. ha, which is the lowest level form 1984-85 until now, according to R.J. O'Brien.
In the current season the wheat export from the US will reach 28.2 mln. tonens (+34% compаred to the previous year), while the wheat export from Russia - 28 mln. tonnes.
As of May 26th, 2017, Ukrainian farmers completed the sunflower sowing with areas of 5.4 mln. ha. Areas under soybean cultivation already amount to 1 mln. ha or 94% of the forecast..
For the period January - March 2017г. 2.78 mln. tonnes of grain have been imported to Spain, by 35% less compared to the previous year, according to the country's Ministry of Agriculture.
